The Company
If you really need convincing...
Whack-a-doodle for noodles? Ravin' about ramen? Are you an edamame eda-maniac? We get it. The fantastic food, delicious drinks and super service at Wagamama are enough to drive anyone to distraction. In fact, just thinking about them is making my tummy rumble...
If you're a Wagamama fan from way back, then rejoice! Your fix is at hand! They're offering to treat you to $50 or $100 to spend on food and drinks. And if you've never tried it, then buckle up, because this treat is guaranteed to get you hooked.
The folks at every Wagamama strive to give you speedy service and a superb dining experience. Your order is taken on a handheld device and electronically sent through to the kitchen to get it started immediately. Your food is made fresh to order and side dishes aren't entrees - everything, including your main meals, comes out as soon as it's ready, fresh from the kitchen and ready to share (or guard jealously, depending on how generous you're feeling). You'll be in food heaven before your stomach can inappropriately growl at your date.
There's a wonderful range of side dishes, mains, drinks and desserts, serving everything from their famously hearty ramen and noodle dishes to crisp salads, delicious dumplings, fragrant curries and delectable desserts. Here are a few of our favourites:
Yaki Udon
Udon noodles in curry oil with chicken, prawns, chikuwa, egg, beansprouts, leeks, mushrooms and peppers. Garnished with fried shallots, pickled ginger and sesame seeds.
Chicken Raisukaree
A mild coconut and citrus curry with chicken, snowpeas, capsicum, red and spring onions, served with white rice, a sprinkle of mixed sesame seeds, red chillies, coriander and fresh lime.
Shirodashi Ramen
Slow cooked pork belly marinated in bulgogi sauce on top of noodles in a rich chicken broth with dashi and miso topped with greens, menma, spring onions, wakame and half a tea-stained egg.
Wagamama have a high level of commitment to making sure every person knows their options and enjoys a great experience. Their website menu has a list of various meals that fit different dietary requirements, such as sugar, nut, shellfish or MSG intolerance, plus many more - just ask your server and they'll be able to help you out.
All the restaurants have wheelchair access and ample seating. This treat is for a dine-in experience, so you get to sit back and enjoy that Wagamama atmosphere and service.
Bookings aren't essential, so just head along to your closest Wagamama when you feel the need (so, like, always). For 6 or more people, bookings can be made subject to availability on the day.
Your taste-buds won't know what hit them. But they'll certainly remember the name Wagamama.
