The city’s oldest park this spacious 75ha park has been developed around the cone of an extinct volcano. There are formal gardens, duck ponds, bush walks and a 1912 band rotunda.
Stop 8: Albert Park/Auckland Art Gallery
Albert Park is a popular destination for Auckland residents and visitors alike. At one corner of the park is the Auckland Art Gallery and gardens, and on the other side is the original park-keepers cottage which is now a museum of memorabilia.
I have had the most incredible family day thanks to you guys! We met friends at the Museum, jumped on the gorgeous red bus and headed to the sky tower. We then jumped back on the bus with John who was just so lovely. We travelled through the city and enjoyed the view from the top deck. The kids we so excited. I highly recommend every family does this. Its a perfect day out! Hop on and off the bus checking out the best of Auckland. Thanks guys! Amazing friendly staff, service. We are going again in the next holidays.B Platt
